Yes, you can use the service for more than two consecutive days. You do not need to return the bicycle every day if there is a storage space at your accommodation. Please check in advance if there is a storage space at your accommodation.
Can I ride outside Miyajima Island?
No, you cannot. Sorry, but you can only use the bicycle within Miyajima.
Is it possible to ride a bicycle round Miyajima?
No, there is no road that goes around Miyajima, so it is not possible.
Can I use the service in bad weather conditions such as rain?
It is possible to use the facility even if it is raining. In case of heavy rain or thunder, we may have to close the facility. If we decide to close, we will notify customers who have made reservations by e-mail. For the latest information, please feel free to call us.
Can I return a bocycle to another location?
No, you cannot. Please make sure to return the bicycle to our store.
What kind of clothing is recommended?
Please wear quick-drying shirts and pants that are comfortable for exercise. Please refrain from wearing high heels or women's sandals as they are a safety hazard.
Do you have bicycles for children?
No, we do not have bicycles for children. We do have bicycles that can be used by children who are at least 139 cm tall.
Do you have bicycles with child seats?
No, we do not offer bicycles with child seats.
Can I lock the bicycle?
Yes, it is. Please be sure to use it when parking your bicycle.
What is an electrically power assisted bicycle?
It is a bicycle that uses an electric motor to assist the pedaling force. It does not require a license and can be used by anyone. It can be used comfortably, especially for long distances and on slopes. The motor only assists the pedaling force, not the speed. Even when the battery is empty, the bike can be ridden as a normal bicycle.
I've never used an electric bicycle before, is it okay?
Riding an electric bicycle is no different from riding a regular bicycle. We will explain how to use it first.
How many kilometers can an electrically power assisted bicycle run?
It depends on the slope and road conditions, but you can run more than 20 km using the full assist mode.

Can I rent a bike on the same day?
Reservations take priority, however, if there are bicycles available, you can rent them. Please note that it may take time to prepare the bicycles.
About the payment method
Basically, we accept payment in advance at the time of reservation. For on-site payment, we accept cash only.
Is there any charge for canceling a reservation?
If you contact us by e-mail by 5:00 p.m. on the day before your reservation, there is no cancellation fee. If you cancel after that time or on the day of your reservation, you will be charged 100% of the cancellation fee. Even if the day of use is stormy, it will not be cancelled. If you wish to cancel, please be sure to contact us by 5:00 p.m. the day before.
Is it possible to change my reservation?
Please contact us by e-mail by 17:00 on the day before your reservation. Depending on availability, we may not be able to change your reservation as requested.
What should I do if I arrive late for my reservation?
Please be sure to contact us by phone. If you do not contact us within 30 minutes of your reservation time, we will cancel your reservation. A cancellation fee of 100% of the rental fee will be charged.
Is there anything I need to bring for rental?
Please prepare a proof of your ID (driver's license, student ID, passport, etc.). We will ask for a copy at the reception.
Is there insurance coverage?
We have insurance to cover "accidents that cause bodily harm or loss of life to others, or damage to others' property" that occur while the renters are using the bicycles. However, there is no compensation in the event that the renter is injured in an accident caused by the renter, so please make every effort to ensure your safety while using the bicycle.
If it starts to rain, can you come to pick up the bicycle?
If it is dangerous to ride the bike due to heavy rain or physical condition, only the bike can be collected. Please pay attention to the weather and your physical condition.
If I return the bicycle before the rental period, can I get a refund for that amount?
No refunds will be given. Please understand this in advance.
What should I do if I can't return the item before the store closes?
If you are unable to return the item by the closing time, please contact the store. You may be required to pay an extra fee. Please allow plenty of time for sightseeing.
What should I do if my bicycle has a flat tire?
Please return to the store for repair or replacement. You may be asked to pay the cost of repair.
What should I do if my bicycle is stolen?
Please contact the store as soon as possible. You may be asked to pay the actual cost of any damage caused by the theft.
What should I do if I have a traffic accident?

Can I leave my luggage with you?
We do not keep luggage at the store. There are coin-operated lockers at the Miyajima Port, so please use them.
Is there a parking lot?
No, there is no private parking lot. There is a public parking lot next to the Miyajima Port, so please use that.
